A great way to take ownership of your social life is by organising social events. More people than you may think are often keen to attend these, but they simply don’t consider setting them up themselves!
And when we say social events, these don’t need to be grand spectacles for the hundreds; they can be any size. Even meeting a friend for a coffee, or a few friends for dinner, counts. The point here isn’t about creating the greatest gathering ever. It’s simply about getting you into the habit of organising events in advance. Make sure you keep all of this logged in a diary or calendar; a great way to improve your organisational skills.
If you don’t quite fancy organising an event yourself, that’s not a problem. How about researching events or classes that have already been arranged and are near you instead?
